Do you do wedding ceremonies too? Or just wedding receptions?
We offer something no other DJ service does. If your ceremony is at the same location as the reception, we can play music for your ceremony at NO EXTRA CHARGE. Just ask for details.
Why do you only book within a 45 mile radius of Clyde, Ohio 43410?
Our reputation precedes us! We book 2-3 shows per night just in our area and we want to give personal attention and back-up reassurance. You can check on Google map for distance but if you fall outside of that distance – you can still call and we will either accommodate you or refer you to one of our network DJ services
Why are your prices so reasonable?
Although we are not the cheapest, we are far from the most expensive. BUT, we deliver the SAME QUALITY service as the $1,000 DJ’s.
Stay away from anyone cheaper! These ‘cheap’ DJ’s are not reliable. They are willing to take a better offer that may come along in the meantime or may be too young and irresponsible to realize how important your event is. I think cheaper speaks for itself when it comes to equipment and service.
As for the ‘expensive’ DJ’s, well, I honestly don’t know why they charge more? I do know I have seen and worked with the ‘expensive’ DJ’s and they offer nothing more than we do.
Is time for setup included in the price? What about Breaks?
We never make you pay for setup or takedown of our equipment.
The hours you are promised are actual playing time. In most cases we arrive an hour and a half to two hours prior to your scheduled start time and will be set up and playing music before the guests arrive.
We do not take breaks unless you invite us to eat, in which case the music will still be playing. Our DJ’s DO NOT DRINK
How interactive are your DJ's?
A very familiar question! Often times when a prospective client is looking for the perfect DJ they search for one who fits the level of interaction they're looking for, whether it be conservative or outgoing.
We actually let you decide how much interaction you would like. We like to have activities/games at your event, but they are upon request only.
We can be conservative, outgoing, or anywhere in between.
Exact details are discussed during your pre-event meeting.
Do we get to choose the music for our event?
We have had clients choose all the music from start to finish and we have had clients leave the music selection completely up to us. We recommend a list of "must play" songs and "play if possible" songs. This way there will be plenty of time for special requests from your guests as well as DJ selections. You may also wish that we do not take requests from your guests. This is your event and we want to make it exactly what you want!
Can we have a "Don't Play List"?
Sometimes the "Do Not Play" list is equally as important as the request list. Any specific song or genre you definitely don't want to hear, put it on the "Do Not Play" list. Don't feel as though we must play the chicken dance or the hokey pokey. If you don't want it, we won't play it. And rest assured, if a guest requests a song on your "Do Not Play" list, it won't be played.
Do you have backup equipment?
We want your event to be perfect. We keep some extra equipment with us at all times (extra light bulbs, cords, cables, etc.) We have backup equipment at the office if something major were to happen. We do have multiple systems however, we pride ourselves on having new equipment and we maintain our equipment at the highest levels.
Can we meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely! There is nothing more comforting than knowing exactly what to expect. From performance to equipment, we will work with you every step of the way, giving you the opportunity to share exactly how you'd like your event to proceed. Have peace of mind because never will a complete stranger show up at your event!
What happens if the DJ gets sick or something?
You can have peace of mind in knowing that a DJ will be there! We never overbook so we always have a backup DJ available for all events to account for the unforseen.
We wish we were super-human and would never be affected by illness or injury, however, that isn't the case.
If something were to happen to me I would notify you as soon as possible, and I would send another of our experienced DJ's to your event.
If possible, we will arrange a meeting with you and the "replacement DJ" before your event. We also will have all the information for your event on file --
all the song lists, special instructions, and anything else pertaining to your event so the DJ will arrive informed and ready to go.
